A man who pleaded guilty to dealing drugs in and around Easton and St Paul’s was sentenced to five and a half years in prison yesterday.
According to Avon and Somerset Police, Joshua Jones, 37, from Brook Road, Montpelier, was arrested on April 4 at his home on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of cannabis.
He appeared at Bristol Crown Court yesterday, where he pleaded guilty to both offences.
Jones is the latest of 25 people convicted of dealing drugs in this area of Bristol since the start of the year.
Deborah Yeates, Neighbourhood Inspector for east and central Bristol said: “We need the community to keep working with us and tell us what they know.”
