Treefest kicks off at St. Mary Redcliffe Church this weekend.
The event runs from 10:00 to 17:00 between December 9th and December 14th.
People can go to the church and see some amazing different tree designs and enjoy music.
This year the event is sponsored by Hollis Morgan and Smith & Williamson.
Treefest has been up and running for three consecutive years. It has become a huge event here in Bristol, with people travelling from all over the UK to attend.
Last year, the festival raised around £5,000 and more than 4,000 people came. The tree that won last year’s competiton was designed by The Milestone Trust.
The idea behind the tree festival is to raise money for two major charities; Mothers to Mothers which is a charity that helps mothers who suffer from postnatal depression and distress.
The second charity is St. Mary Redcliffe Church, that focuses on older people’s needs.
This year’s Schedule of the event includes Bristol Folk singers, Ponita Choir, School Education Workshops. On the 15th of December is Christmas organ music by Andrew Kirk.
