Search called off for missing Bristol doctor

Avon & Somerset Police have stood down their search for missing doctor Lauren Phillips, the BBC are reporting.

The junior doctor, who worked for the North Bristol NHS Trust, has been missing since Thursday, 23 February.

Devon and Cornwall Police, HM Coastguard, the RNLI and the National Police Air Service have all been involved in the search.

Her car was found in Woolacombe, North Devon, five days after she went missing.

Lauren is white, 5ft 5ins tall, and of slim build with dark brown hair.
