Local charity Bristol Mind has launched its first helpline for transgender people on International Trans Day of Visibility.
The helpline supports those suffering from mental health issues and raises awareness of discrimination faced by trans people.
International Trans Day of Visibility is aimed at celebrating trans people in the community.
Liz Sorapure, the project coordinator for the charity, hopes that this will help trans people feel more included in society.
The helpline will have trained trans volunteers answering the phone and offering advice to callers.
