She says it\u2019s a \u201creally exciting time in the party\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Ms Stafford-Townsend there is a \u201chuge breadth of experiences\u201d coming from the new candidates, some with \u201creally strong activist backgrounds\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/uwejournalism.net\/bowernews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Green-Party.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the situation in Gaza remains top news, Saturday&#8217;s event will focus on the Green Party\u2019s future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congresbury and Puxton now welcome a Green Party Councillor after Phil Neve won the by election with 64% of the vote. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement event will be taking place at Future Leap on Gloucester Road on Saturday the 18<sup>th<\/sup> November between 3pm-6pm. &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bristol Green Party have said it is &#8220;disappointing&#8221; that all four of Bristol&#8217;s Labour MPs abstained from voting for a ceasefire in Gaza.
