A 15 ft version of The Lumistella Company\u2019s The Elf on the Shelf Scout Elf will land on city buildings to bring cheer\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Redcliffe &amp; Temple BID added: \u201cThe Elf on the Shelf will be the perfect early present to kids throughout Bristol, who will be delighted to spot the elf in a larger-than-life game of hide and seek\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steve Bluff, the head of Redcliffe &amp; Temple BID said: \u201cWe can\u2019t wait to delight workers, residents and visitors this festive season with a big old Christmas cracker &#8211; all while bringing festive fun to some of our city\u2019s undiscovered areas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The elf is 15 feet tall and named Isambard Kingdom Brunelf, or Brunelf for short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This follows a naming competition set by Redcliffe &amp; Temple BID who chose Jess Pointon to be their winner.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The winner of our naming competition is Jess Pointon with Isambard Kingdom Brunelf, or Brunelf for short \ud83d\udc9c<\/p>&mdash; Redcliffe &amp; Temple BID (@RedAndTempleBID) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RedAndTempleBID\/status\/1730541767915655407?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 1, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be daily clues shared by Redcliffe &amp; Temple BID\u2019s social media outlets as to where Brunelf will be hiding next, including on top of city buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Bringing Elf on the Shelfs classic mischievousness you can expect to see Brunelf as it \u201cunravels toilet rolls or eats some festive treats\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A giant Elf on the shelf has been released into Bristol today as part of a Christmas hide and seek extravaganza.
