In the last hour, Rovers have confirmed former Rotherham FC manager Matt Taylor as the replacement for Joey Barton who was sacked five weeks ago.
Taylor has signed on for a three and a half year deal with the North Bristol club.
Caretaker manager Andy Mangan will leave the club with immediate effect.
