Percy is seen daily at Cecil Road bus stop, with many locals posting to neighbourhood apps, such as ‘Next-door’ and Facebook groups, one being ‘Kingswood people’ of the friendly welcome they’ve received from Percy when greeted by him at Cecil Road bus stop.
Owner of Percy, whose name is Cat and a local Kingswood resident, who with her husband and children live a stone through away from Cecil Road, leaving Percy to wander around the local neighbourhood, and marking his territory, mostly spotted at the bus stop!

Lovely Percy has even been said to rest inside the local Hair and Beauty Salon, especially in the summer, to cool off and to get some much needed rest from all the loving attention he receives.
Many of the local bus drivers have also come to know Percy. With one saying he’s even more friendly than many of the passengers he gets.
It’s safe to say Percy is living his best life and loves a good bit of fuss and attention. Greeting locals and welcoming all to his territory.
So, if you come across a white and ginger speckled cat at Cecil Road bus stop in Kingswood, ensure to give Percy all the love and head scratches he demands!
However, “Be wary of his belly!” as when he’s in a playful mood, he may nip your hand!
