‘Young Sherlock’ continues filming on Bristol’s Harbourside this week as the production takes Bristol’s Queen Square back to the 19th Century.
The square has been blocked off to pedestrians whilst filming and has been lined with vintage posters as well as market stalls.
Footage has also been taken off several horse drawn carriages roaming around the square, with the pre-existing houses being used as a backdrop. Cast members have also been seen in Victorian clothing.
The production’s September filming suggested that the series will take place in 1871.
Filming for the series has taken place in various locations across the city.
The production team previously filmed on Corn Street in mid-September, where the area was transformed to fit a Victorian street with a similar layout.
The series, directed by Guy Ritchie, is also expected to star Hero Fiennes Tiffin as the main protagonist in Victorian England, with the show also expected to star notable actor Colin Firth.
The series is expected to debut on streaming platform Amazon Prime in 2025.
Pedestrians will be able to access Queen’s Square once again this evening, once filming has been wrapped up.
