Bristol City Council has reportedly removed residents’ belongings from Barton House, which was evacuated on Tuesday night over safety concerns.
Residents and campaigners were protesting at City Hall when it was announced that council officials were removing people’s belongings.
However, Bristol City Council has clarified that belongings will be removed from only three flats to allow for surveys to take place. No other belongings will be removed.

Members of the Bristol community gathered inside City Hall this morning to show solidarity with the Barton House residents and demand answers from the Council.
More than 400 people were evacuated from the tower block after the Council received a report showing that the block may be unsafe in the event of a fire or explosion.
