Bristol-born Collins Nemi, better known by alias Conducta, makes a headline return to his hometown this weekend as UK Garage vibrates across the city.
Conducta will headline Thekla tonight as part of his sold out Conducta’s Crib tour, alongside yet to be announced special guests.
Once crowned the prince of UKG by his peers, DJ & producer Conducta has been leading the way for the genre following his production on 2019 smash hit ‘Ladbroke Grove’ with AJ Tracey.
Alongside the likes of Interplanetary Criminal and Sammy Virji, Nemi has spearheaded a new wave of the genre which has filled post-pandemic dance floors up and down the country – Bristol clubs have been no exception.
The recent revival of the genre has been well documented and is once again a huge part of UK dance music, Bristol producers and labels have played an important role in this with Conducta the city’s biggest export.
Bristolians can also hear UK garage tonight at Lakota from Copenhagen-born Main Phase, Riz La Teef, and Sophia Violet of Girls Don’t Sync. Additionally, up-and-coming UK producer Hamdi headlines Clock Factory this evening.
