People in Bristol are to be affected by upcoming strikes, with travellers being told to plan ahead this coming week, due to national rail strikes.
The dates for this disruption will be from Saturday 2 December to Friday 8 December.
Likely to happen will be an “overtime ban” happening Friday the 1st of December and Saturday the 9th of December.
Workers on GWR will be striking as the Aslef union announced.

GWR said: “There could be further disruption from Friday 1 to Saturday 9 December, due to industrial action short of a strike which is likely to cause some short-notice alterations and cancellations, especially at weekends or late at night.”
Also affected will be CrossCountry rail services on the 7th of December.

CrossCountry, who are also striking from Saturday 2nd of December to Friday 8th of December have stated: “We have temporarily suspended the sale of Advanced fares for CrossCountry services on strike days until the timetable for the strike days have been finalised.”
CrossCountry have also reassured its passengers that, “customers affected by industrial action between 2-8 December, are reminded that tickets within these dates will be valid for travel from 1-12 December”.
