Former Secretary for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock is currently appearing at the COVID Inquiry hearings and ‘X’ users have taking to social media to voice their feelings towards Hancock’s handling of the pandemic.
A video has been posted on ‘X’ by Lorelei King showing Hancock leaving the inquiry yesterday with the caption saying “there was a whole line of inquiry employees in front of us. He doesn’t need protecting from us… our loved ones need protecting from him”.
Another user asks “Why is this Matt Hancock not in Prison serving a long sentence”.

The financial handling of the pandemic has also been criticised by Alan Molineaux who stated, “the £37b allocated to Test & Trace was a political decision. Imagine if they had given all 8,145 GP surgeries in the UK £1million each they would still have £28.9b left”.
Matt Hancock was in the inquiry hearing this morning and former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson will be giving evidence to the inquiry next week.
Hancock has defended his handling of the pandemic and yesterday claimed thousands of lives could have been saved if the first lockdown in March 2020 had started three weeks earlier.
