Police have found a body in the River Wensum while searching for missing Norwich woman Gaynor Lord one week after her disappearance.
Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that underwater search teams recovered the body this morning from the water.
The body has not been formally identified, but Lord’s family has been informed and will “continue to be supported” by specially trained officers.

The 55-year-old mother-of-three went missing last Friday in Norwich after leaving her workplace at Jarrolds department store an hour earlier than scheduled.
Her clothes, phone, and other accessories were found at different locations in Wensum Park after 8pm.
Her coat, however, was found in the river running through the park.
They said there was a “high probability” that Lord entered the water and described her disappearance as “out of character”.
There will be more information from the police later today.
