“We offer hope to people”: Bristol launches campaign to support survivors of sexual assault

Bristol organisations have come together to launch “We’re Here,” a campaign to support survivors of sexual assault.

Bristol’s rate for sexual violence is significantly higher than the national average, with an average 3.5 per 1,000 population, and 33.2% of residents felt that sexual harrassment is an issue, in the city.

The ‘We’re Here’ campaign has launched this week, raising awareness among university students in Bristol about the professional support that is available for survivors of sexual assault.
