Bristol Rovers fans have reacted positively after the club officially confirmed the appointment of Matt Taylor as their new head coach on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
Jack Vickery on ‘X’ is impressed by the signing and believes “Rovers will be pushing at the right end of the table come May, with a manager who’ll get the club united as one. You feel this is a recipe for success.”
Taylor had most recently been at Rotherham United, where he led the Millers to survival last season in the Championship.

Rotherham have not commented on their former manager’s new job but United fans have wished their former boss nothing but the best.
@IBradders, a Rotherham supporter has posted their gratitude saying, “All the best Matt from a grateful Millers fan. Thank you for keeping us up last season”.
Rovers fan @BRFCBill posted his thanks to caretaker manager, Andy Mangan: “Welcome Matt. Looks an exciting appointment. Again, want to just say thank you to Andy Mangan. We will miss having you at the Gas. Been nothing but a class act, who I wish nothing but the absolute best for.”
