The leader of Bristol’s Labour group in City Hall, Tom Renhard, has told Bower News that the party will sit “in opposition” for the first time since former Mayor Marvin Rees came into power eight years ago.
In response, Bristol Lib Dems said on X that Labour “have only attended one meeting” throughout the cross-party committee talks.
“Talks are continuing and we would like to see all parties fully participate in these for the good of the city,” the party added.
