An arrest warrant has been released for Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence Yoav Gallant.
The International Criminal Court have charged both Israeli Ministers with knowingly depriving Palestinian citizens of means of survival such as food and shelter.
An arrest warrant has also been separately released for Hamas leader Mohammed Diab Ibrahim Al-Masri who has also been charged with Crimes against humanity.

The Israel-Palestine conflict has been raging since 7 October 2023 following a Hamas terrorist attack at an Israeli music festival. The conduct of this war has raised international criticism and condemnation for the alleged brutalisation of the Palestinian population.

Following the announcement of these arrest warrants, many European countries have pledged to arrest Netanyahu should he attempt to enter their country. The Netherlands was the first country to acknowledge and accept the warrants with other countries shortly following suit.
The decision has been condemned by Netanyahu himself who has dubbed it an ‘Antisemitic’ attack. The American government has also spoken out against the warrant, refusing to arrest Netanyahu should they enter the country. America has been a vocal supporter of Israel throughout this conflict.

The United Kingdom has yet to comment on the arrest warrants.
