Bristol Rovers travel to Highbury stadium in The Sky Bet League 2 at 3pm on Saturday to take on high-flying Fleetwood Town after the Cod Army recorded a historic victory over Premier League Champions, Arsenal, midweek in the League Cup.
Fleetwood beat Arsenal on penalties in the League Cup round of 16, overcoming a gap of 84 places in the football pyramid.
Rover’s manager Steve Evans is aiming to turn around a torrid away run that has seen his side lose their last five matches on the road.
The Rovers manager has been setting his expectations low ahead of the match.
“Of course I would take a point because we are in a losing sequence away from home,” he said. This is despite sitting two points above Fleetwood in the Sky Bet League 2.
Meanwhile Fleetwood Boss, Matt Lawlor, buoyed by his sides midweek giant-killing, wants nothing less than a win.
“For me, a win on Saturday is paramount because it’s the next game. Three points is what we always want to achieve at home,” he said.
The Gas will be without centre back Kofi Balmer after he picked up his fifth caution of the season in Rovers 0-0 draw with Swindon Town.
Finley Potter will be available for Fleetwood despite sustaining a cut to his eyebrow before the clash with Arsenal.
In this fixture last season Fleetwood beat Rovers 2-1 thanks to a first half Will Davies brace, a late Promise Omochere penalty only offered The Gas consolation.
